Hi loves! Guess what today is? Yes... time for another mascara review!! I recently bought the Loreal Paris Double Extend mascara after getting an eye infection from my Maybelline The Rocket. Read that review here:
http://darlingyouareadoll.blogspot.com/2013/08/maybelline-rocket-mascara-review.html
This was a pretty good mascara so check out my pros and cons below.
Pros: This mascara is really good and lengthening and good at thickening. If you have sparse lashes I would not recommend this, however if you have shorts lashes I would totally recommend it. (It is only $SIX dollars).
Cons: I cannot really tell if it holds a curl, so if that is your main focus when buying mascara, I would recommend this, but if you want to try it, YOLO right?
Here is a pic of my eyes with the mascara on the left and not on the right, but I also have my typical eyeliner and eyeshadow on both.
Another thing I did not really love about this mascara, was the white side. It made my lashes look grey when I layered the black over it, so I never really used it. However, I would probably buy the black size by itself in full size. PS- the black thickens and white lengthens.
That's it loves! It was not a very exciting post, but stay tuned for Friday; I will be raving about THREE drugstore hair products I am in loooove with!
XoXo,
Emily
PS. On Season Five of Gossip Girl thanks to Netflix! I don't want it to end! ;)

Simple DIY Ring Holder
Hi darlings! So sorry for the long wait between my last post and this one. Starting next week I will be posting every Monday, I promise! :) Anyways today I have a super cute, 3 step, 3 ingredient DIY!
Here is what you will need:
1. Two tea plates
2. Hot glue gun with glue
3. A short candlestick

Here is what to do!
1. Glue the rim of the candle stick and stick it in the center of one of the tea plates
.jpg)
2. Glue the top part of the candle stick and put the other tea plate on top of that
And PS- here is a pic of my Fourth of July mani. I hope you all had an amazing fourth!

And tadaaaaaa! I think this is so cute and dainty! You can put rings on it, bracelets, your most worn lipsticks, anything really! You could even use it as a serving platter! If you try this out ( which I hope you do!) leave a pic and comment down below! Xo, Emily

Hi again! Today I will be sharing my summer makeup must haves that will leave you worry free about sweating, running and whether you look like a clown five seconds after you go outside... and they will be no need to touch up with these made-of-steel products. Trust me I know from living in one of the hottest states how annoying it can be to go outside and come back looking like Amanda Bynes these days... These products will take you to all your fun summer activities whether that may be paddle boarding, your summer lifeguard job, bike riding down the pier, or even a beach date. Anyways, I hope you enjoy and lets get started.
1. Product number one is the Urban Decay "Chill MakeUp Setting Spray COOLING AND HYDRATING". Spray this on after you do your makeup to prevent smudging, running, and to keep cool. Also if you want to bring this along in your bag and re-spray once or twice throughout the day, go ahead!
2. The second product is by far my favorite. This is the tarte Amazonian clay Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow, in seashell pink (shimmer). I love love love this color it is a universally flattering creamy, pink that won't overpower you. I think the name is absolutely perfect as well.
Here's what beauty.com has to say about it: "Powered by skin-smart Amazonian clay, micronized Amazonian clay intensifies color pigments while working double-duty as a primer, which binds the pigment to the skin so it won't slide off midday. Thanks to a botanical blend of natural plant waxes, the shadows glide on smooth and form a budge-proof layer that protects against sweat, tears, and creasing for hours of wear time. Not only is it super long-wearing, but it covers delicate eyelids with Amazonian clay, carnauba wax, mineral pigments, and vitamins A and E. "
How can you say no to that?
3. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner is great for summer, not only because it's waterproof, but it is long-lasting and smudge-proof. Also, the felt tip is good for thin and thick lines. The one below is in "periwinkle" and a gorgeous summery color.
4.The fourth product is another tarte product. This is their Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen. This is wonderful because it will be light, but still have good coverage and sunscreen which is extremely important. Sephora also adds: "this water-based formula blends into your skin as easily as a moisturizer (and it's formulated without oil, so it won't clog your pores) while micro-treated mineral pigments diffuse the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving an even, natural finish. This dermatologist-tested formula is full of Skinvigorating ingredients such as chamomile, vitamins A, C, and E and sodium hyaluronate, which all work in perfect harmony to nourish, moisturize, protect, and revitalize all skin types while the SPF 20 protects your skin against the sun's harmful rays."
5. Lastly, Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint (yes, another Tarte product. I'm obsessed) These have been shown to increase your lips moisture by 6000% and stay all day. Also, you could dab this on your cheeks and blend as it in, as it is an extension to Tarte's check stains.
I hope this post helped you out for your summer makeup look! Leave any more requests below and I will talk to you later!
Xoxo,
Emily
